Woven Straw Snakeskin Jacket

Woven straw and snakeskin cardigan jacket by Amen Wardy. Sheer basket-weave raffia is intertwined with graphic stripes of black and white snakeskin in a boxy deep v-neck cardigan silhouette. Trimmed in ribbed knit silk cuffs and waistband and lined in silk organza for a comfortable, breezy fit that glides over the skin. Three-button closure with a slight blouson waist and long dolman-style sleeves. We would wear over a bra and leather miniskirt, topped with a leather newsboy cap, highlighting all of the luxurious textures. Black, cream.

*Snakeskin strips show signs of wear and degradation due to wear and age (pictured), not immediately noticeable and adds texture to the look, mostly visible on the cream strips. Some portions of the strips are pulled/stretched out a bit, and just need to be worked back through the weave (pictured); does not take away from the style.
