Lion Medallion Bag

Fierce lion head handbag by Martin Van Schaak. Own a piece of American design history with this original handbag. Never sold in stores, Martin Van Schaak created bags to order for his well-heeled clientele- and this sueded shoulder bag is a perfect example of such customization. The main star is a detailed brass lion face relief with piercing rhinestone eyes. Accordion-like expandable three section bag with center zippered section, inner zippered slip pocket, and 3 slip pockets. We would wear this bag with gauzy whites and flat leather sandals for a breezy summer look. Light nude, cream, gold, amber.
