Mosaic Drop Waist Dress

Abstract painted mosaic draped dropwaist dress by Janine of London. Flowers and flourishes are pained on rectangular perforated textured fabric that resemble sequins. Touches of gold add to the shimmery sequined effect, and fabric-based texture allows for a little stretch and give.  Slinky ankle-column silhouette skims the curves with a little ease that drapes off the body, accentuated by a faux dropped-waist tie detail and plunging back. Strong, padded shoulders add structure to the draped pullover style, with a hook-and-loop velcro closure at the back. We would add an ornate headband, a metal clutch, and a strappy heel to finish the deco-inspired look. Black, evergreen, midnight blue, wine red, eggplant, marigold, gold.

*Threads coming loose at back velcro closure, due to strength of velcro pull (pictured); we recommend reinforcing with a few additional stitches, but not necessary.
