Larry Vrba Mayan Revival Chain Belt

Ornate enameled glass gemstone buckle chain belt by Larry Vrba for Castlecliff. Sought-after piece from Vrba's Mayan-inspired 1970's Pre-Colombia collection. Three large glass cabochons are surrounded by decorative enameled feathers and sculpted men in headdresses on a flat book link chain belt. Hook closure attaches to a rounded link for a hip-slung style, but can also fastened anywhere along the rectangular chain to sit higher at the waist. Rectangle signature cartouche at back. We would wear as a regal adornment to a draped jersey dress, finished with colorful heels and gold statement earrings. Gold, red, orange, malachite, turquoise, lapis blue, true blue, burgundy, deep green.
