1988 A/W Collarless Leather Skirt Suit

Stunning leather jacket and skirt set by Saint Laurent Rive Gauche. A clean silhouette is given a YSL makeover in a signature shade of red. Collarless single button closure jacket with strong power shoulders, nipped waist, and lightly flared peplum hem carves out a sleek hourglass silhouette tipped in metallic gold leather lamé. Matching pencil skirt with waist darts and side zipper with button closure. Fully lined with extra waist and sleeve cuff buttons. We would wear together as a suit for the strongest statement, with pointed toe heels- but absolutely love this jacket with jeans and a silk cami, or the skirt with a basic white tee and sneakers. True red, gold.

*Jacket- slight wear and very small scratches throughout in line with age and wear, mainly few small spots/scratches on R sleeve cuff (pictured), small spot at mid-back (pictured); not immediately noticeable. 
Skirt- Hanger clip indentations and scratches around waistband due to storage (pictured); mainly visible on inside of waistband, not noticeable. Skirt button and tab appear to have been moved/altered, but does not affect the style and is not immediately noticeable.
