Chinese Metal Embroidered Dragon & Phoenix Skirt

Majestic hand-embroidered skirt with suspender straps has intricate details throughout. Red silk satin serves as the backgroud for all-over raised metallic embroidery depicting swirls of dragons and phoenixes. Suspender straps and a drawstring tie waist help carry the weight of the embroidery and adjust to fit. Metal cord fringe adds movement to the weighty silhouette. Skirt has many visible basting stitches- we believe them to be the temporary tacking for pleated panels of red satin- and will let their new owner uncover the hidden surprise. *Small snap closure needs to be reattached; easily repairable. Missing a couple strands of fringe; not very noticeable. Stained at inside hem (pictured); not noticeable. Visible damage to embroidery throughout, mainly concentrated near right hip due to hanging/storage, age, and materials. We recommend taking to a tailor for restoration if desired.
