Originating in the Autumn-Winter 1987-88 Harris Tweed collection, the Portrait corset shows how Westwood subverted the corset structure, worn by high society women of eighteenth-century salon culture. This edition, the piece is finished with an orb jacquard lining - recalling Westwood's vision of taking tradition into the future.
